Newsom would be a fresh face on the Democrat side having never 
officially entered the national race before.
Strength: Being from California he would be able to have access to deep pockets from the coastal rich liberals and the Hollywood Left. But beyond that.....
Weakness: See last 3 words above.....also he would be too California as the governor of a collapsing state. Outside of California, even in the Democrat Primary Base, no one wants to become California00from the out of control crime wave linked to specific policy or to out of control homelessness also lonked directly to policy on his watch.
